Pennsylvania Has the No. 2 Party City in America
When you think of partying, you might think of cities like Las Vegas or New York City. But, an unassuming city in Pennsylvania has been named one of the top party cities in the US.
The study was conducted by BetSperts.com. In it, they say, “There are many reasons to party. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, a winning sports bet, or maybe you want to make a bad week better, there’s always an excuse for a night out. But with so many options, where do you choose to go? There are so many factors which contribute to a great night out. That’s why we wanted to make that decision easier for you.”
They add, “If you’re looking for a great place to party, then there are many things to consider. Don’t worry, we’ve done that for you. We’ve looked at nightlife attractions, taxi fares, Airbnb rates, and casinos to find out which US city is the best for partying.”
The No. 1 city for partying, according to the study, is Saint Louis, Missouri. Definitely not what I expected. No. 2 is right here in Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh.
Of Pittsburgh being such a party area, the study says, “In second place is Pittsburgh with a party score of 8.27 out of 10. Pittsburgh is known for its contribution to the steel industry, but the real steal is a $1.98 per mile taxi ride back to your Airbnb, which is the second cheapest taxi fare on our list. An Airbnb is just $157 on average, which is one of the cheaper prices too.
