Pennsylvania Spot Makes List of ‘World’s Most Unusual Restaurants’
Pennsylvania has some tremendous restaurants. Now, it turns out that the Keystone State has one of the “world’s most unusual restaurants.”
A new list from LoveFood.com names a handful of restaurants that they consider to be the most unusual in the world. “From cat cafés to joints where dishes are delivered via roller coaster, the world is filled with weird, wonderful and downright wacky places to eat,” they state in the article. “Here we reveal the world’s most unusual restaurants, guaranteed to drop jaws and get people talking.” To make this this, the outlet picked “eateries in unique locations and diners inside historic aircraft.”
As it turns out, only a few of these are in America. Most of the restaurants are located all over the world, from Europe to Asia. So, which Pennsylvania spot made the cut? Catacombs at Bube’s Brewery in Mount Joy. “Deep beneath Bube’s Brewery lies Catacombs, a stone-lined vault 43 feet (13m) below street level,” they state in the article. “Each reservation includes a history tour of the brewery on the way down to dinner.” There, “you’ll be offered a selection of house-brewed beverages to complement mains such as chicken piccata and crab cakes. Book onto a late-night ghost tour following dessert if you dare.” Find the full list of the world’s most unusual restaurants here.
