[00:44:22] Marisa Got Married! The gang found out during their Sunday night check-ins with each other. No one knew it was going to happen. Marisa’s picture was not clear to the guys, but Kathy figured it out quickly. Marisa and her boyfriend Matt got married in Las Vegas. She said she was taking today as a personal day. The venue for their wedding was The Punk Rock Museum, making it the first one to take place at it. Casey’s younger brother eloped to Vegas, and Casey was annoyed that he missed a Vegas vacation and wedding. [01:53:48] Thwarting Crimes. A local pizza delivery for Coco’s Pizza named Tyler Morell tripped a man who was fleeing a stolen car and being pursued by police. Tyler was holding a pizza the entire time and did not drop it. The gang takes calls from listeners who prevented/intervened in crimes or saved peoples’ lives in emergency situations.
[02:39:36] Tyler Morell calls in. He was at Coco’s Pub last night. His initial reaction was to protect his car because he had just bought it and currently has a flat tire. He is 6’8” and a lacrosse goalie. He didn’t think the cops were going to be able to catch the thief on foot, and he wanted to protect his pizza. He decided to sacrifice his leg and trip the thief. Tyler says that he’s worried about what criminals like the thief could do to the family-centric neighborhood. There is footage of the homeowner eating the pizza. Tyler tipped his bartender but does not remember if he was charged for any of his drinks. He wants to get a beer with the gang, and they do too.

The NYPD will begin using GPS-tracking “bullets.” A pneumatic launcher known as the Guardian-HX fires trackers that can attach to fleeing vehicles, allowing police to remotely track suspects without dispatching interceptors to follow them. Less than half of American travelers found that their last vacations lived up to or exceeded their expectations. This mainly pertained to international travel. Social media played a part in these findings, since it raises the expectations of locations and experiences for travelers. Tips for improving your vacation include learning about the history and stories of your destination, learning the basics of the local language, getting tips from locals, travelling with an itinerary created by an expert of your destination, having back-up plans, planning the trip with a tour group or travel guide, and seeking out non-touristy locations.
