Pennsylvania Weather to Hit 90 After Cool Stretch – Here’s Where
It’s that time of year when you don’t really know what you’re going to get with Pennsylvania weather. Last weekend, it was super hot across much of Pennsylvania. It really felt like summer.
Then, a big cool-down worked its was across the state this week, with Philadelphia lows back into the 40s. So, what weather is ahead?
Now, it appears we’re in for another roller coaster of weather for the next week. Looking at Philadelphia, on Wednesday (April 19), we expect highs to get into the 60s, with lows in the 40s, according to Weather.com. But, on Thursday (April 20), we predict Philadelphia’s highs to hit the upper 70s, and by Friday (April 21), it’s looking as high as 90, or at least the upper 80s. Things do cool off next week, though, with temperatures getting back into the 60s as highs. Also, there have been some fire watches across Pennsylvania due to the dry weather. In Philly, the only day rain is expected for the next full week is on Sunday. Elsewhere in the state, according to Weather.com, in Pittsburgh, temperatures are expected to get into the 80s on Thursday and Friday before falling back into the 50s and 60s as highs. In Scranton, Thursday will be in the 70s, Friday in the 80s and then the 60s and 70s all weekend.
In other words, spring is here, but it might feel more like summer for a few days coming up. Then, back to spring. I’m a huge fan of hot weather, so I say, bring on the 80s and 90s, but I realize that’s a bit much for many fans of spring weather.
