To Infinity, and… the Pier! Pixar Themed Mini Golf Coming To Penn’s Landing
Disney fans, get your Mickey ears on and your golf clubs ready to Touch the Putt. See what we did there? Pixar-themed mini golf is coming to Penn’s Landing.
Pixar announced that it will be coming to Philadelphia for Pixar Putt starting this July. Soaring through October, the pop-up is an 18-hole course that will feature photo-worthy backgrounds and your favorite Pixar characters.
From French cuisine to the scare floor, and all the way to a giant piano, putt your way through the stories, characters, and icons of Disney and Pixar, all designed by world-class artists. Guests will be able to putt with the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the Delaware River as a backdrop.
Did we mention that Philadelphia will be premiering two new holes, inspired by Turning Red and Lightyear, respectively.
The summertime attraction, which also had residencies in New York City, Chicago, and Denver to name a few, will operate for seven days a week, from 12pm-10pm. Want to avoid the daytime rush? You’re in luck, my friend. Pixar Putt will host After Dark sessions on weekends from 7-10pm that’s 18+. No kids? It’s a Disney Adult’s dream.
Let’s be real. We can’t help but talk about the brilliant location for this pop-up. On the riverfront, Pixar Putt will take over the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing. Surrounded by a variety of bars, restaurants, and vendors, there is no lack of activities to keep guests entertained before and after putting.
Did we mention how accessible it is to get to? With a variety of public transit, from buses to subway to Seasonal buses, the location is available for any and all guests to attend.
So don’t end up wearing the cone of shame, get out there and enjoy some summertime putt-putt with your favorite friends!
