Remembering Rabbi, Sean Tyszler, who passed two years ago today.

We started talking many moons ago when I was over at WYSP, and we instantly loved each other because we both got into this business for one thing: music. He had a big part in planting the seed to bring me over to WMMR! He loved his Heavy Metal but he was so educated in many other styles and eras.

Not too many people can talk music with me the way Rabbi could.

I loved working with him and even more, I loved that we were friends who loved music and religion. I always was so curious about his religion and he would answer all of my questions. I drove him crazy. I miss the late-night chats about 80’s Metal & The Stones Songs that I was supposed to play but played different ones,  and he didn’t have the heart to tell me I was wrong.

Thank you Rabbi for our forever friendship. You were one of the good ones in this Business. You were real. Not too many come from that mold.
