Brent Marks wins the Mitch Smith Memorial at Williams Grove on Friday, June 30, 2023. It was the 35th annual Mitch Smith Memorial. The race is being held in honor of the late Mitch Smith, famed sprint car driver from Linglestown.
Brent Marks on facebook. Marks hails from Myerstown, PA. He started racing at age 9. He grew up around sprint car racing, and his father was a big fan of Donny Wolfe. When Donny retired, he begged his father to start racing himself. He eventually agreed, and they bought their first go-kart at the Silver Spring flea market. That’s how his racing career began.
Brent Marks is a driver and co-owner of the Murray Marks Motorsports #19 sprint car team. He races in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series, the All Star Circuit of Champions, and major central Pennsylvania races. Marks is a two-time World of Outlaws sprint car champion. He also competes in the All Star Circuit of Champions and major central Pennsylvania races.

The race was be part of Pennsylvania Speedweek, and Brent Marks received a $20,000 prize. The total purse for the speedweek event is the largest ever offered.
