The Eagles went the distance, and now it's time for their "Long Goodbye."

The legendary band has announced their farewell tour, which they share in a statement is "currently in the planning stages." They will be rolling out dates and venues once they are confirmed. So far, only 13 dates have been announced, which are listed below, but fans should expect plenty more. Steely Dan will provide support on these dates.

The Eagles said to their fans, " ... We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for embracing this band and its music. At the end of the day, you are the reason we have been able to carry on for over five decades. This is our swan song, but the music goes on and on."

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 14 at 10 AM local time. Complete ticket details, including information on VIP packages, is available at Eagles.com.
