Watch The Struts’ New Video For “Too Good at Raising Hell”
The Struts are dripping in excess in the official video for their brand new song “Too Good at Raising Hell.”
WMMR debuted the track on air last week. In a live Q&A the band explained filmed the clip in half a day in downtown Los Angeles. It was directed by Chris Applebaum, who’s been a the helm for videos from Better Than Ezra, Fountains of Wayne and Miley Cyrus. In the video, the devilish rockers stuff themselves to the gills with plenty of food to fuel their hell-raising (and a few plastic lobsters make an appearance, for levity).
The Struts’ new album is yet to be announce, but we’re expecting to hear it by the end of this year. Their frontman Luke Spiller recently discussed his songwriting process with Radio Sara on How I Wrote That Song. He explained: “One thing I’ve learned (is) that you simply do not know. The only thing you can do… is keep pushing and pushing, and then something is gonna surface, that you might not even recognize the quality within it, until you really start to show it around and people react to it and get drawn into that.”
