(00:44:31) Steve’s Smoke Detector Situation. Steve tells the gang about his carbon monoxide detector going off last night, and he and the gang discuss this and other stories of annoying alarms. They then hear from callers about their own alarm issues, including a woman who had to detach her beeping alarm and hide it under a pile of clothes, an electrician who accidentally set off 10 smoke alarms in his truck while smoking and driving, and more.
(01:30:27) Bizarre Files. A United Airlines pilot has been charged after destroying a parking arm with an axe. In Georgia a man was arrested after shooting and killing a bear. An Albert, Canada-based restaurant chain won a bidding war for a sandwich costume being auctioned by the government.
(01:52:42) Connoisseur. Hormel Foods is looking to lend a helping hand to Maui, partnering with Convoy of Hope to deliver Spam to people. A Washington State University study found that larger font sizes on menus made customers more likely to choose healthier dining options. A restaurant called Bankroll opened in Rittenhouse but closed shortly after. Philly Pretzel has a new pretzel pizza. The Shipwreck Saloon Cocktail Experience is coming to Penn’s Landing at the Gazela Primerio. Chik-Fil-A is adding a honey pepper chicken pimento sandwich to their menu.

(03:24:05) Bizarre Files. An Ohio McDonald’s customer complained to the authorities after finding pennies in her daughters’ chicken nuggets. A die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan known as Chiefsaholic has been indicted for armed bank robbery and money laundering. A Stranger Things obsessed woman fell victim to a ruthless catfishing scam and divorced her husband and sent $10,000 to someone posing as the actor who played Billy Hargrove.
(03:40:35) Hollywood Trash & Music News. The Talking Heads are finally reuniting for the first time since 2002 for a 40th anniversary celebration of their concert movie Stop Making Sense. Evanescence’s Bring Me To Live almost featured Saliva’s Josey Scott. Green Day is going to release a 30th anniversary addition of their album Dookie.
