Seth Rollins’ Spectacular Mummers WrestleMania 40 Entrance
Seth “Freakin” Rollins enlisted the help of Philly icons for his epic Mummers WrestleMania 40 entrance!
WrestleMania 40 took place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7, 2024. Seth Rollins might have pulled off his most incredible entrance on Sunday.
A Mummers WrestleMania 40 Entrance
Seth “Freakin” Rollins is a wrestler who is known for his flamboyant flair.
This knack for drama hit an all-time high as he strutted down the ramp at WrestleMania 40 surrounded by a huge group of Mummers.
Rollins recruited Mummers from the Spring Band Association to welcome him to the ring on Sunday night for his world heavyweight title defense against Drew McIntyre.
Rollins and the group hit the stage dressed in traditional Mummers costumes as thousands of fans sang his theme song. WrestleMania and pageantry go hand-in-hand. This was a particularly effective (and very Philly) WrestleMania entrance.
As a Mummer myself, you know I was stunned and delighted by this! This Mummer representation just brought an amazing art form to the (inter)national stage. 67,594 people watched from the seats at the Linc, plus an estimated 1.9 million people watched from home. WOW!
TJ Ferry arranged the music and Shawn Blubaugh and Sammy Regalbuto, President of the Spring Band Association made it all happen!
Congrats to all of the Mummers that got to participate in Seth “Freakin” Rollins’ entrance.
