This initiative is designed to get 100,000 black women to sign up for a large study on cancer and how cancer impacts black women differently than women of other ethnicities. The American Cancer Society is finding a lot of success in individualized research for cancer.
Each human is different and unique and therefore the cancer treatments will need to be unique and individualized for us to find higher success.
