Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! The Trestle Inn is hosting a dance party on Friday night (6/7) to get us hyped for the arrival of the legendary Rolling Stones, who are returning to Philadelphia next week.

So Stoned: A Rolling Stones Happy Hour Dance Party will feature DJ Steve J and The Slinky Vagabond spinning Stones, and on vinyl! There'll be go-go dancing by special guest Ruby Tuesday, classic Stones videos playing on the screen to dance along to, and good vibes all around. There's also a Jumpin' Jack Flash featured cocktail and happy hour specials until 8pm.

All of this is happening at the Trestle Inn at 339 N 11th Street in Philadelphia on Friday June 7th. The party goes from 6 to 9pm, so you can get your weekend started off right. Follow them on Instagram for more upcoming events.

Ready for more Stones? We'll see you next week at Lincoln Financial Field when the band take the stage on June 11th. More info on the official MMR Concert Calendar.

Every Rolling Stones Request from You-Call-It Friday Night

The Rolling Stones will return to Philadelphia next summer, and everyone at WMMR couldn't be more excited to welcome them back to the Linc. Pierre Robert and Jacky Bam Bam are some of their absolute biggest fans in this city, so when it came time for You-Call-It Friday Night in the middle of our 13 Days of the Stones, we knew we had to pull out all the stops.

The trouble was, Bam Bam - who's usually on air every weeknight - was on vacation that week. (How dare Mick not check in with our schedule before announcing a tour!) With the promise of hot coffee and the freedom to take as many Stones song requests as possible, we called upon Pierre - who's usually at the helm from 10:30am to 3pm - to come back into the studio at 7pm on Friday. He, along with Sara, played over two hours of the Rolling Stones, and they were ALL based on YOUR favorites.

The request lines were ringing off the hook that night, and we thank you for sharing your memories of the band with us. The Rolling Stones' show at Lincoln Financial Field is on Tuesday June 11th, 2024, and tickets are on sale now. Their new album, Hackney Diamonds, is also available now.

Below is a list of the songs that Pierre Robert played, per your requests. We even got a special call from Bam Bam (who's back in the nighttime this week) towards the end of the playlist.

More from the Pierre Robert Show

From roughly 10:30am to somewhere around 3 (we call it Pierre Standard Time) weekdays Philadelphia rocks with (and loves) Pierre Robert on WMMR. Pierre Robert began his illustrious career at the pioneering progressive rock station KSAN, in his hometown San Francisco, but it’s through his uninterrupted 42-year tenure at Philadelphia‘s legendary WMMR that he’s made his mark. One of the city’s most recognizable celebrities will write about being at the center of its live music scene and greeting his legions of fans as if personal friends in the smallest clubs and largest stadiums.
