Excited For Tommy Conwell At Brooklyn Bowl

I am so excited for Tommy Conwell at Brooklyn Bowl on Friday, July 19, 2024.

The Philadelphia-based band Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers will play Brooklyn Bowl. The band had a #1 US mainstream rock hit in 1988 with "I'm Not Your Man", which also peaked at 74 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The original band, consisting of Conwell (guitar, vocals), Paul Slivka (stand-up bass) and Jimmy Hannum (drums), was known for its raw, high-energy live performances which included many classic blues and rock standards. such as "Hideaway" by Freddie King, "Rumble" by Link Wray, "Time Has Come Today" by The Chambers Brothers and "Downtown Train" by Tom Waits, together with several original songs, some of which appeared on the debut album, Walkin' on the Water.

Other signature tracks such as "Demolition Derby", which many[who?]felt exemplified the band's raw three-piece sound, were abandoned following the shift of the band's sound following the addition of two members, keyboard player Rob Miller and Chris Day on guitar.

It was an MMR Rocks Return of the Sinner USA Tour 2024! The show was on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA.

KK’s Priest is a heavy metal band formed by former Judas Priest guitarist, K. K. Downing in 2020. Downing left Judas Priest in 2011. He did not perform live again until 2019 when he played at Bloodstock Open Air festival with former Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss.

In January 2020, Downing signed with Explorer1 Music Group. The following month, Downing announced a new band, KK’s Priest, with Mills, Owens and Binks and bassist Tony Newton.
