The Mummers Parade Is Now Emmy Nominated

The Philadelphia Mummers Parade is delighted to announce that the 2024 Live Casino & Hotel Philadelphia Mummers Parade was nominated for Mid-Atlantic Emmy!

About the nomination, Sam Regalbuto, president of the String Band Association said: “Our hard work and dedication to preserving, improving, and modernizing our tradition is paying off. People around the world are now seeing what Mummery is truly all about: Including and entertaining all people.”

I am a Big Supporter of the Mummers. I have a 7th Inning Strut every night on my show. But I am not just a supporter. I am also a Mummer!

I have been Strutting for decades and have strutted in all 5 Divisions!! I am a multiple-time First Prize Winner in The Handsome Costume Category and started as a Mummer at 5.

I was just recently inducted into the Mummers Hall of Fame as well!

All of this to say that this nomination means so much to the Mummer community.

Jacky BamBam won first place with "JUNGLE EXOTICA" in The Handsome Costume Category at the 2024 Mummers Parade.

It took us rock and roll Animals on a journey into the uncharted Jungle's lush visual sceneries while pulsing with environmental vibrations and tropic thunders. The forest labyrinth keeps you entranced in its hypnotizing and rhythmic clutches...Is there no escape as you follow the call of the wild???

I am so proud of Brittany for taking home SECOND PLACE in the Handsome Costume division with Goddess Isis: Reawakened! It was incredible to be able to strut with her for her FIRST TIME! First and second place baby!

I need to share some thanks. It takes an army.
