The Warning Round-Up: MTV VMAs, a Japanese Collab, and MMRBQ 2024
Mexican sister trio The Warning have been nominated for an MTV VMA.
The band announced their nomination Instagram (in both English and Spanish) saying: “We were nominated for PUSH Performance of the Year at the 2024 VMAs! This wouldn’t be possible without all your incredible support and the hard work of our crew! Thank you all for believing in us and being part of this journey.”
MTV PUSH is a program that spotlights “music’s next big star” with premieres and performances each month. The Warning was the featured band last month, July 2024.
You can vote for the Villarreal Vélez sisters up to twenty times per day here. MTV’s 2024 Video Music Awards will air live on September 10th. See the Best Rock Video nominees here.
New Music from The Warning
The Warning released their fourth LP Keep Me Fed earlier this summer. “S!CK” has been a staple on WMMR this year, and they followed that up with the single “Hell You Call A Dream.”
Just this week, the Mexican band revealed an intercontinental collab with Japanese rockers BAND-MAID. The song is called “SHOW THEM” and it’ll appear on BAND-MAID’s next album Epic Narratives. Watch the video below.
