Pierre Robert caught up with Noodles backstage at MMRBQ 2024 before the Offspring hit the stage, and you can hear it first on WMMR this afternoon (Thursday 10/10) at 1pm.

Noodles, who's been the Offspring's lead guitarist since the band's inception, always has stories for Pierre, and this chat covered everything. From their history with MMR and performing at our annual festival, to UFOs, to Leonard Nimoy's grandson touring with the band, and their wild Brazilian fanbase, it'll be an interview you don't want to miss.

You'll also hear the pair talk about the Offspring's new album Supercharged, which drops tomorrow (10/11). You've heard the lead single "Make It Alright" on MMR; Noodles told Pierre about how that track came to be, and who the mystery voice is in the song's hook.

Listen to 93.3 WMMR Philadelphia at 1pm (Pierre Standard Time) during the Workforce Blocks for music and conversation with one of our favorite guitarists in punk rock. You can stream right here on WMMR.com, or via the free MMR App on your phone. You can also ask your smart speaker to "Play Ninety Three Three WMMR".

Check back on Pierre's page to hear the interview with Noodles on demand later this week. Keep an eye on MMRBQ HQ for more recaps and interviews, and check our official Concert Calendar for more shows. Plus: see if you can spot yourself in our recap on Instagram, or watch it below. We’ll meet you back at the “FM Center” in 2025 for another great ‘RBQ!

More from the Pierre Robert Show

From roughly 10:30am to somewhere around 3 (we call it Pierre Standard Time) weekdays Philadelphia rocks with (and loves) Pierre Robert on WMMR. Pierre Robert began his illustrious career at the pioneering progressive rock station KSAN, in his hometown San Francisco, but it’s through his uninterrupted 42-year tenure at Philadelphia‘s legendary WMMR that he’s made his mark. One of the city’s most recognizable celebrities will write about being at the center of its live music scene and greeting his legions of fans as if personal friends in the smallest clubs and largest stadiums.
