Preston & Steve Collaborate With Nifty Fifty’s on Camp Out For Hunger Milkshake
Portion of the proceeds from each milkshake sold will be donated to Preston & Steve’s Camp Out For Hunger benefitting Philabundance.
93.3 WMMR’s Preston & Steve Show and Nifty Fifty’s have collaborated on a delicious, limited time milkshake called Gingerbread Blast.
The special flavor was created by the WMMR morning show hosts and perfected by the restaurant’s milkshake experts. The base is made of vanilla ice cream with rum syrup, malt, graham cracker and brown sugar mixed in. It’s topped with whipped cream, dusted with cinnamon sugar, and adorned with a gingerbread cookie, and a cherry on top.
“One of the hurdles was trying to create a flavor that they don’t already have!” Executive Producer CaseyBoy Foster pointed out. “Because they have 2,000,” co-host Steve Morrison playfully pointed out about the already lengthy list of flavor options.
A portion of the proceeds from each milkshake sold will be donated to Preston & Steve’s Camp Out For Hunger benefitting Philabundance. The special shake is available now through December 4th at all eight Nifty Fifty’s locations.
“It’s one of the best milkshakes that I’ve ever had,” Preston exclaimed during the on air announcement. “I dare you to go to Nifty Fifty’s and walk away and not say that it’s [one of the] best milk shakes that you’ve ever had,” he added.
Preston & Steve’s Camp Out For Hunger is December 2nd – 6th in the parking lot of Xfinity Live inside the Wells Fargo Center. The event is free to attend with live broadcasts from 6am – 7pm daily (11am end on Friday) carnival rides, photo activations and unlimited surprises. The only request is that attendees bring a non-perishable food donation. Philabundance, the beneficiary of the event will be on sight collecting the donations which immediately go to the warehouse to be sorted and distributed through their network.
This will be Preston & Steve’s 27th year hosting the weeklong food drive. The first event in 1998 collected 1 TON of food over 5 days. Last year’s Camp Out collected 1,757,021lbs (878 TONS) and $1,158,732. It’s all made possible through the generosity of the 93.3 WMMR listeners!
