The game, held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, showcased the Eagles’ dominance from start to finish. Quarterback Jalen Hurts led the charge, earning the Super Bowl MVP title with an impressive performance.
The Eagles’ defense was a force to be reckoned with, sacking Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes six times. Defensive tackle Milton Williams and defensive end Josh Sweat were standout players, with Williams recording two sacks and Sweat contributing 2.5. Rookie defensive back Cooper DeJean made history by scoring a pick-six on his 22nd birthday.
This victory marked the Eagles’ second Super Bowl win in franchise history, their first being in Super Bowl 52. The win also denied the Chiefs a historic three-peat, solidifying the Eagles’ place as a powerhouse in the NFL. The team’s resilience and strategic gameplay were key to their triumph.
