Doja Cat, Lisa, and Rey teamed up to perform a number of songs. Nick didn’t know 2/3 singers but thought they did a great job. Morgan Freeman honors Gene Hackman at the Oscars in memoriam. The best picture went to Anora. Anora stands among the lowest grossing best picture Oscar winners in box office history. Nick and Kathy were watching on Hulu and were having issues. It was not just them; it was a nationwide issue, and people missed the final two awards. Sean Baker won for best director. Actor in the supporting role went to Kieran Culkin. Actress in the supporting role went to Zoe Saldaña. Animated feature film went to Flow delivering Latvia its first Oscar. Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers make defiant speech after winning best documentary Oscar. They play the clips.

Over the weekend, David Johansen passed away at age 75. His nickname Buster Poindexter that came from people making fun of him as a child.
