Restaurateur Stephen Starr to Open Two New Dining Establishments in Atlantic City

Atlantic City is buzzing with the news that legendary restaurateur Stephen Starr is partnering with Ocean Casino Resort to introduce two new dining concepts to the region.

In an interview with Forbes, the James Beard Award winner said his childhood memories of summers spent in Atlantic City have fueled his motivation to bring something exciting to the community.

“When the team at Ocean first approached me, it felt like a full-circle moment,” he said. “I admire how Ocean is constantly improving and enhancing their offerings while keeping the guest experience front and center.”

Although the dining concepts remain in development, they will remain faithful to Starr's mark of excellence by delivering exceptional cuisine in a well-appointed space with impeccable guest services. 

“The ‘Americana' concept will be open for breakfast and lunch and will offer a nostalgic menu of comfort foods that are familiar and beloved by all,” said Starr. “The menu will feature dishes such as pigs in a blanket, tuna tacos, pierogies, home-style meatloaf, and Thanksgiving dinner served year-round.”

Starr will borrow inspiration from Paris' iconic Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecot for the second restaurant concept. “It combines old-school charm with a new-school twist,” he said. Guests will find a prix-fixe of steak, salmon, and lobster with frites, plus several à la carte items.

Forbes reported that Atlantic City is enjoying a newfound resurgence following the COVID-19 pandemic. Announcements like Starr's new dining concepts, the return of the Atlantic City Airshow, and Steel Pier's new roller coaster Sky Rocket II are giving people reasons to revisit Atlantic City.
