Local Grown Organic Fresh Berries and Cherries at Farmers Market
Beginning Friday, May 2, the KSQ Farmers Market will deliver fresh picks every week to the Kennett Square community. The market will be set up at the Borough Hall, 600 S. Broad St., from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Each week throughout the growing season, market customers can expect to find a wide selection of in-season fresh vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Additional items include breads, cheeses, honey, meats, pastries, preserves, and prepared meals. Vendors of natural home and skin care products will also be present, as will individuals offering coffee, mead, tea, and local wines.
“Coming together as a community to support local farmers and small businesses is more important than ever, and Kennett Collaborative is excited to kick off the new spring season in Kennett Square,” said Ros Fenton, community programs manager for Kennett Collaborative, in a statement shared with MyChesco.com.
This season, the KSQ Farmers Market will collect weekly donations for the Kennett Area Community Service (KACS) food pantry, enabling market shoppers to buy items to support families in need in Chester County.
“This system not only supports local farmers but also ensures fresh and nutritious food reaches neighbors who need it most,” Fenton added.
Customers can subscribe to the market's "What's Fresh" newsletter to learn about each week's vendors and fresh produce availability. Visit the KSQ Farmers Market website for more information.
