On Thursday, May 15, HBO unveiled a teaser for a new crime drama, "Task," filmed in and around Philadelphia. The HBO crime drama, starring Mark Ruffalo, is a follow-up to HBO's hit series "Mare of Easttown" and features Ruffalo as the leader of an FBI task force charged with ending a series of drug-house robberies.

The series is slated to debut on HBO in September. It will air weekly for a seven-episode run.

According to a Philadephia Inquirer report, "Task" used several locations throughout the Philadelphia area for filming, including Ralph's Italian Restaurant in South Philadelphia, the Delaware County Government Center and Courthouse in Media, Newtown Square, and several spots in Delaware and Montgomery counties.

The series also has several other Philadelphia-area connections. Berywn native Brad Inglesby is the creator of "Task" and "Mare of Easttown." Features directing for the series came courtesy of South Philadelphia native Jeremiah Zagar. Jeremiah is the son of Philly mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar.

Heery Loftus Casting, a Philadephia-based talent agency, directed the local casting for "Task."
