Philadelphia's annual summer pop-up is returning to Eakins Oval on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for a new season of fun, food, and entertainment.

The seasonal event spot at the base of the Philadelphia Museum of Art will feature a pop-up beer garden, food trucks, and miniature golf area running this month through Sunday, Sept. 10. Additionally, the area will host live music, movie nights, and designated days for festivals and markets.

Libertee Grounds, a Francisville mini golf bar that fuses Asian and American bites, will be offering the Korean smash burger and Masala nachos. A full on-site bar will serve beer and cocktails.

In addition to Libertee Grounds, a rotating selection of food trucks will be present throughout the summer.

According to a PhillyVoice report, events at the Oval are free to attend, including the Juneteenth Festival on Saturday, June 21. This festival will usher in the new season with music, art, and an all-Black vendor market, running from noon to 9 p.m.

The first movie night will deliver a screening of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on Friday, June 20, at 8:15 p.m. Other planned programs include several after-dark R&B concerts taking place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 26, July 24, and Aug. 28.

The summer pop-up event will also include activities for guests of all ages, such as teen nights, weekend youth basketball tournaments, health and fitness classes, lawn games, and arts and crafts for kids.

Eakins Oval will stay open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 9 p.m. The space will close from June 30 to July 6 to accommodate Wawa Welcome America programming.
