Ocean City Pops to Offer Free Outdoor Concerts on July 3,4

Maestro Vince Lee and the Ocean City Pops will perform free outdoor concerts on Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4, during the Pops' fifth annual Star Spangled Spectacular.

The concerts will be held at 8pm at Carey Stadium, off the boardwalk between 5th and 6th streets. Musical selections will feature audience favorites and patriotic pieces in honor of the Fourth of July.

According to OC NJ Daily, free face painting for kids will be included at both shows. The July 4 show will be followed immediately by Ocean City's annual Fourth of July holiday fireworks display. Audience members attending the performance at Carey Stadium will be able to view the fireworks from the stadium's seating area.

As noted on the orchestra's website, the Ocean City Pops performs a diverse range of music and programs for audiences of all ages. An evening with the Pops can feature everything from a fully staged Broadway musical to opera, jazz, theme nights, movie scores, or children's concerts.
