A new cat café stretches across 3,900 square feet at 4161 East Swamp Road in Doylestown. MeWow Café began welcoming visitors on July 9, adding a first-of-its-kind therapy space to its mix of coffee and cats.

Guests can join the grand opening at 11 a.m. The staff will cut a ribbon, show visitors around, and serve treats. Want to meet adoptable cats? They'll be there too.

Since August 2019, Eilene Kramer's vision has found homes for 600 cats. Working with rescue groups across the area, MeWow stands as Bucks County's sole spot mixing coffee service with cat companionship.

Inside, special "alleys" give visitors space to bond with cats. What's different here? A special room where medical staff can run pet therapy with their patients: the first such setup in the region.

Fresh-brewed organic coffee flows alongside craft teas and sweets from nearby bakeries. Eilene and her daughter Karla built this place together, turning a simple idea into a hub for both sips and adoptions.

Local rescue groups send cats to MeWow, giving strays a chance at finding families. Visitors pick time slots to spend with cats in clean, comfy spaces.

This expansion adds a fresh twist to Doylestown's shops. While food stays in one area, cats play in another, keeping everything up to code while making matches between pets and people.

MeWow's success shows in the numbers: hundreds of cats now have homes thanks to this creative mix of café culture and animal care. For Bucks County residents seeking pets, this spot offers a whole new way to meet their future companions.
