Witness an old-time county fair and celebrate agriculture and innovation at the annual Gloucester County 4-H Fair. Held July 24-27 at the 4-H Fairgrounds (275 Bridgeton Pike in Mullica Hill, New Jersey), the fair offers a range of activities for visitors to explore. Equestrian competitions, livestock judging, and other 4-H projects will be on display in arenas, pens, and stalls throughout the fairgrounds. 

Below are some of the activities and programs offered at this year's fair:

  • Announcement of the 4‑H Ambassadors and Equestrians of the Year
  • Annual livestock auction
  • Beef show
  • Contests for the public (baking and cooking, mullet contest, skillet and tire toss, and more)
  • Dairy show
  • Dog show

  • Horse shows and events:
    • Draft horse pull
    • Dressage competition
    • Exceptional rider horse show for youth with special needs
    • Horse costume contest
    • Horse management contest
    • Knock-down-and-out competition
    • Stall and barn decoration contests
    • Western horse shows
  • Livestock costume contest
  • Parade of tractors
  • Rabbit, cavy, and small animal shows
  • Sheep show

Visitors to the fair can also view the accomplishments of 4‑H children who have worked throughout the year on various educational programs. Endless displays of 4-H projects complement daily rides and games, as well as magic shows, musical acts, tractor parades, and craft exhibits. Bring your appetite for food from the fair, including a nightly barbecue featuring sides of locally grown produce and locally made desserts.
