Bridge and road construction projects will impact traffic in several Bucks County communities during the next several weeks.

Plumstead Township

Base repair work will take place on Stump Road between Route 313 (Dublin Pike) and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Plumstead Township from Wednesday, Aug. 13, to Friday, Aug. 29.

The repair work will require the closure of these roads. Motorists will be asked to use Route 313 (Dublin Pike), Curley Hill Road, and Route 611 (Easton Road). Local access will be maintained during the work.

Repairs on Route 413

Road resurfacing and pavement repair will occur on Route 413 (Durham Road) between Dark Hollow Road and U.S. 202 in Bedminster, Buckingham, and Plumstead townships from Monday, Aug. 11, to Friday, Aug. 15. Motorists can anticipate weekday lane closures with flag operators in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During this work, PennDOT contractors will repair, mill, and repave the state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal the roads and provide drivers with safer, smoother driving surfaces.

Route 202 Toll Bridge

The New Hope-Lambertville (Route 202) Toll Bridge will be restricted to single travel lanes in each direction. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place for the southbound (Pennsylvania-bound) direction and an 11-foot width restriction in the northbound (New Jersey-bound) direction. The travel restrictions will remain until further notice.

According to The Patch of Doylestown, a contractor is currently removing the former cash-collection toll plaza and replacing it with an open-road, cashless all-electronic tolling apparatus. The project also includes improvements and repairs to the bridge's Pennsylvania abutment.

PennDOT reminds drivers to allow extra time when traveling near these work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled construction activities are weather-dependent.
