The Philadelphia region will host numerous September festivals events to celebrate the end of summer and welcome the beginning of fall.
59th Annual Polish American Festival in Doylestown
The grounds of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa's grounds will come to life with one of the country's oldest Polish cultural festivals. The event, held from Aug. 30-Sept. 1 and Sept. 6-7, will feature traditional music and dancing, entertainment, carnival rides, and shopping. Tributes to Polish heritage will take place with demonstrations by historical reenactors and daily encounters with Polish traditions, plus plenty of Polish food.

Philadelphia Fringe Festival
The month-long celebration, held from Sept. 4-28, will feature alternative, cutting-edge, and avant-garde performances throughout Philadelphia. Enjoy comedy and dance performances among several locations throughout the city.

40th Annual Kennett Square Mushroom Festival
It wouldn't be September in Kennett Square without the popular Kennett Square Mushroom Festival. Celebrating its 40th year in 2025, the two-day festival, held from Sept. 6-7, will include fungi-themed food, live entertainment, shopping, and more.

2025 Puerto Rican Day Parade
Join thousands of spectators who will line the sides of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for this annual parade and celebration of Puerto Rican culture. More than 1,500 participants are expected for the parade.

Spruce Street Harbor Park
Spruce Street Harbor Park along the Delaware River offers opportunities to lounge on the boardwalk through Sunday, Sept. 28. Enjoy concessions with plenty of spots to relax in Adirondack chairs or in flat-bottomed net lounges above the river.
