Panda Fest, one of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the United States, will take place in Dilworth Park from Oct. 4-5. The festival offers opportunities to experience the tastes of Asian cultures such as China, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Cultural performances, games, merchandise, raffles, and more will also be offered.
Panda Fest arrived in Philadelphia in April and resulted in sold-out tickets and large crowds.
“Philadelphia welcomed us with open arms this past spring, and we couldn't be more excited to return for a fall Panda Fest in this incredible city,” said Xuan (BiuBiu) Xiu, the founder of Panda Fest, to NBC 10 Philadelphia. “We received a lot of feedback from a ton of people, and we're looking to improve upon everything this time around, and we're going to have more vendors and more food and drink options for the whole family.”
According to Xiu, October's Panda Fest will be larger than the first festival in April. The festival will feature more vendors, a greater visitor capacity, and more space. Guests can find more than 60 Asian food vendors and more than 100 types of street food. Don't miss the 15-foot inflatable panda for your photos.
The first 100 tickets for each time slot will be sold for $10. General admission tickets are $14, and VIP tickets are $25. All guests will get a Philly-themed panda pin and inflatable panda headbands. VIP attendees will receive a panda-themed gift bag, and they'll get to skip the entrance line. Children younger than 5 can enter the festival for free without a ticket.
