Fans of shopping local will rejoice in the news that the Clover Market will reopen for the season. The market's opening is set for Sunday, Sept. 7, in Chestnut Hill.

The market will bustle with activity from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Chestnut Hill along West Highland Avenue and in the Turquoise parking lot at 25 W. Highland Ave. Vendors, food, craftspeople, and more will have dozens of works available for sale. Admission to the market is free.

Some of the participating food establishments include the following:

  • Bonjour Creperie
  • Honey Bear Ice Cream
  • Korea Taqueria
  • Many Hands Coffee
  • Mom-Mom's Kitchen
  • Redstone Pizza
  • Waffles Philly

The Philly-area band Wayside Shakeup will perform from noon to 3 p.m. Kids can enjoy face painting and free activities throughout the day.

Future Clover Markets will include stops in downtown Collingswood (Sunday, Sept. 21), Bryn Mawr (Sunday, Oct. 5), and Kennett Square (Sunday, Oct. 19). Each of the Clover Market locations will feature a new lineup of vendors and a revolving group of food trucks, musicians, and community organizations.

The third annual indoor holiday market will return to the Westtown School in West Chester on Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23, with more than 120 vendors.

According to Metro Philadelphia, the award-winning market launched in 2010 with the mission of providing an avenue for antiques dealers and individual artisans to connect with customers who like supporting small businesses. The experience began in Ardmore and expanded to events in coordination with local business districts in Bryn Mawr, Chestnut Hill, Collingswood, and Kennett Square.

Over the years, the Clover Market has supported hundreds of small businesses and has received numerous awards, including “Best of Philly” and “Best of the Main Line.”
