A Cape May and a Philadelphia lodging property have been named with MICHELIN Key designations as outstanding hotels. The announcement was made on Oct. 8 in a global reveal of all MICHELIN Key properties, which recognized the MICHELIN Inspectors' list of the very best hotels in the United States.
Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center
The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center at One North 19th Street in Logan Square bears the Four Seasons' new "forward-looking contemporary-cool style," according to MICHELIN.
"With architecture by Norman Foster, sound design by Brian Eno, floral arrangements by Jeff Leatham, and food by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, among others, this Four Seasons makes a big splash. And though it's decidedly modern in style, the city's traditionally minded Four Seasons clientele has embraced it with open arms. (Nobody particularly minds a spectacular 57th-floor infinity pool)," MICHELIN wrote about the property.
Lavish bedroom suites offer extraordinary city views and welcoming amenities for guests.
Beach Plum Farm Cottages in Cape May
Beach Plum Farm at 140 Stevens St. in Cape May, New Jersey, has been awarded the MICHELIN Guide 2025's One Key distinction for the second year in a row.
Beach Plum Farm occupies 62 acres of agricultural land. The working farm features six guest houses, three barns, and three cottages.
Read more about what MICHELIN had to say about this property:
"This is another side of Cape May, not just literally but figuratively as well — rather than stroll the boardwalk you'll ramble across farmland, or borrow a bike (or a golf cart!) for a jaunt to the beach or into town. Indoor fireplaces and outdoor fire pits keep things cozy, and the décor is a lively marriage of classic farmhouse utilitarianism and colorful modernist style. Full kitchens and laundry facilities make clear that these are self-contained residences; outdoor grills make them perfect summertime escapes.
"There's also a swimming pool, and farm tours can be arranged; meanwhile the farm's produce is for sale at the Farm Market, in the central barn, where the Farm Kitchen is also open for breakfast and lunch. And you can find Beach Plum Farm's produce elsewhere around town as well — before it was a lodging it was the dedicated supplier of quite a few of Cape May's better restaurants."
