Splash Into the Season With Scuba Santa at Adventure Aquarium

Back for another season of festive fun, Christmas Underwater, presented by Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, returns to the Camden waterfront from November 21 through December 24. This beloved event transforms the aquarium into a winter “waterland” packed with holiday “d-eel-ights” – from twinkling lights and indoor snow flurries to the World’s Tallest Underwater Christmas Tree.

The star of the show? Scuba Santa himself. Making his first dive of the season on Friday, November 21 at 10:30 AM, Scuba Santa will swim through Ocean Realm alongside sea turtles, sharks, and stingrays, spreading cheer to guests of all ages. Families can snap photos, wave hello, and even watch Santa deliver holiday joy beneath two million gallons of water. Cameras are encouraged to capture every magical moment of his underwater adventure.

Beyond the thrills of seeing Santa swim, visitors can explore all that Adventure Aquarium has to offer. Kids can send letters to Scuba Santa, marvel at stunning aquarium décor, and experience the wonder of interactive exhibits featuring penguins, hippos, and the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast.
