The historic Wanamaker Building’s Grand Court, already home to the city’s legendary light show, transforms into a cozy indoor market brimming with artisan gifts, sweet treats, and festive flair—just in time to become part of your holiday tradition.
Shop, Savor, and Celebrate Under the Lights
Presented by the organizers of Christmas Village and created in partnership with the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation, the Shops at The Wanamaker Light Show brings together 30 specially curated local vendors right in the glow of over 100,000 dancing LED lights and the iconic sounds of the Wanamaker Organ. The market is perfect for holiday shopping and relaxing between festive downtown activities, featuring everything from Philly-themed ornaments and hand-blown glass to gourmet jams, award-winning spirits, skincare, and cozy alpaca accessories.
What to Expect This Year
- Market Dates: November 28 – December 24, with hours from 12:00pm to 8:00pm daily (closing early on Christmas Eve at 4:00pm, and closed select Mondays and Tuesdays).
- Hourly Light Show: The legendary Wanamaker Light Show dazzles on the half hour from 12:30pm to 5:30pm, with a special 6:30pm show beginning December 12.
- Vendor Highlights: Shop from beloved local brands such as Occasionette, Ana Thorne, Tiffanys Bakery, The Bacon Jams, Lily Lough Jewelry, Winterborn Alpaca, Melmos Dog Treats—and many more.
