Stand-up comedian and Pennsylvania native Shane Gillis will headline a one-night-only show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on July 17, 2026, in a performance that's being billed as his biggest to date. The comedian and actor will entertain more than 60,000 fans at the Linc with yet-to-be-announced guests.
Tickets for the show went on sale on Black Friday, Nov. 28.
According to CBS News Philadelphia, Gillis has several connections with the Philadelphia area. He attended and graduated from West Chester University and has performed in shows in Philly, including at the Helium Comedy Club on Sansom Street.
Originally from Mechanicsburg, Gillis stars in his Netflix series Tires, which he co-writes with Philly native John McKeever. Netflix has renewed the show for a third season, set to air in 2026. Gillis also released his second stand-up special, Beautiful Dogs, on Netflix in 2023. His first special, Shane Gillis: Live in Austin, self-debuted in 2021 and garnered more than 40 million views.
Gillis is an unabashed Philly sports fan, often seen wearing Eagles or Phillies gear or attending games in person. He's also had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at a Phillies game.
"Shane has always been an incredibly supportive Eagles fan whose local roots tied to the region will serve as a great homecoming," Brian Napoli, senior vice president of corporate partnerships with the Eagles, said in a news release shared with CBS News Philadelphia. "We value the relationship we share with Shane and look forward to creating a truly special evening for him and his many fans at Lincoln Financial Field on July 17."
