The holiday season is in full swing in Philadelphia. Last Thursday, Dec. 4, the city celebrated the occasion with the annual tree lighting at City Hall. Thursday's event only scratches the surface of holiday events taking place this season.

Comcast Holiday Spectacular

Guests can take part in this free, 15-minute holiday show presented on “The Comcast Experience” video wall. The activity will feature holiday sing-alongs, performances by the Philadelphia Ballet, and a sleigh ride around the world. This show runs daily now through Jan. 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with shows at the top of every hour at Comcast Center, 1701 JFK Blvd. in Philadelphia.

Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market

The Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market at Dilworth Park runs now through Jan. 1, 2026. Explore works from makers and creators across the tri-state area, including artisans, crafters, designers, and jewelers.

Philadelphia's Christmas Village

Experience the charm of a German Christmas market in the heart of Philadelphia. Taking place at LOVE Park and City Hall, Philadelphia's Christmas Village is running now through Dec. 24. From food and drinks to carousel rides and more, the Christmas Village experience is one residents and visitors alike will appreciate. 

Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink

Running now through Feb. 22, 2026, the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink enables guests to experience the beauty of Philadelphia at holiday time on ice. Skate sessions are available in 90-minute increments, with a 30-minute buffer between sessions. Guests can also indulge in some hearty fare and beverages at the Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin.

Wanamaker Light Show and Dickens Village

Experience this Philadelphia holiday tradition presented in the historic Wanamaker Building. Guests will be enchanted by more than 100,000 LED lights that project snowflakes, reindeer, and more, accompanied by music from the Wanamaker Grand Organ. 

Several floors above, the Dickens Village offers visitors a walk-through experience that places them in the heart of 1840s London through 26 scenes from A Christmas Carol.
