The Philadelphia Phillies and SEI volunteers joined a charitable Season of Giving event, packaging meals and organizing canned and boxed goods to help families in the Philadelphia area.

Volunteers gathered on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Shared Food Program in Philadelphia to help the organization in its food distribution efforts across the Philadelphia region.

According to a Phillies news release, renowned Phillies figures and guests pitched in with support, highlighted by the participation of 1980 World Series champion Dickie Noles, 1993 National League champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson, Phillies ambassador Scott Palmer, and the Phillie Phanatic.

Share Food Program is a leading hunger-relief organization in the Philadelphia region and one of the largest independent food banks in the United States. The organization collaborates with numerous community groups and schools to distribute food, provide education, and advocate for access to meals.

SEI is a leading global provider of technology and investment solutions and the official partner of the Philadelphia Phillies, and both organizations succeeded teaming up to package the meals.
