Winter Fest at Historic Smithville Park in Eastampton, New Jersey, will transform the park into a holiday celebration on Saturday, Dec. 13, from noon to 5 p.m. Guests will discover a winter wonderland atmosphere, seasonal foods, and music.
Attendees will be able to enjoy a Nutcracker performance by Fortune's Folly, Victorian carolers, and a Naturalist Challenge at a pop-up nature center where naturalists will test people's knowledge of native evergreens and woody plants.
According to The South Jersey Local News, visitors will experience decorations throughout the festival grounds. Wandering carolers and a mix of indoor and outdoor activities will further complement the holiday festivities.
These activities will include the following:
- Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus in Victorian attire.
- Enjoy ice skating on a synthetic ice rink.
- Take part in an elf hunt.
- Shop for handcrafted treasures at the Holiday Marketplace.
- Sample bonfire s'mores, wine, and mulled cider at the beer garden.
Tours of the Smithville Mansion and the village will be offered. The Mansion Annex will host Burlington County's 49th annual Juried Art Show and the Worker's House Gallery featuring photographer Eric Stoner.
