Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse in Milford, New Jersey, has earned a Super Gold Medal at the 2025 World Cheese Awards in Bern, Switzerland, for its Drumm Cheese. More than 4,000 cheeses from 46 countries were judged by 265 experts at the event.

According to Shore News Network, Drumm Cheese is distinguished by its aroma, flavor, and texture. Drumm Cheese is crafted from raw milk and aged to develop a complex, earthy flavor profile.

The creamery credits its grass-fed farming practices and small-batch cheesemaking for the cheese's distinctive flavor. Bobolink's recognition places Drumm Cheese among the top selections worldwide — a substantial milestone for the family-run business.

New Jersey Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way praised the award, calling it a testament to the state's agricultural strength and local craftsmanship.

“New Jersey is proud to be home to a vibrant agricultural landscape, where talented farmers craft the finest artisan products to be enjoyed around the world,” Way said in a statement shared with the Shore News Network.

New Jersey Agriculture Secretary Ed Wengryn noted the honor underscores the quality of New Jersey's farmer-produced goods on the world stage.
