Delco Hosting Holiday Events Through Christmas Week

Delco Residents can join dozens of celebrations starting now and running until Christmas Eve.

Ridley Township Library sets up shop at 100 E. MacDade Blvd. in Folsom. They'll wrap gifts today between 3 and 4:40 p.m. The service continues to Dec. 23, from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m.

St. Anastasia Church presents its seventh Festival of Lessons and Carols tonight at 7 p.m. You'll find it at 3301 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square. Wine and cheese await guests after this free program.

Tree of Life Church opens its doors for the Longest Night Worship tonight at 7 p.m. The address is 933 Baltimore Pike in Springfield. Light snacks will be served in the library afterward.

Santa strolls State Street in downtown Media tomorrow. First Bank sponsors this appearance, which runs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and starts at 22 W. State St.

Jamey's House of Music brings "A Very Cheadle Christmas" to the stage Friday at 8 p.m. The venue sits at 32 S. Lansdowne Ave. in Lansdowne.

Upper Darby Summer Stage Shooting Stars take the stage Saturday at 7:30 p.m., then again Sunday at 1 p.m. Both shows happen at Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School, located at 403 N. Lansdowne Ave. in Drexel Hill.

Herbert W. Best VFW 928 throws its annual Children's Christmas Party on Saturday. The fun lasts from noon to 2 p.m. at 1805 MacDade Blvd. in Folsom.

Woodlyn Baptist Church invites everyone to its Christmas Eve Service at 7 p.m. on Dec. 24. Attendees will sing carols, hear the Christmas story, and light candles while singing "Silent Night."
