Sheetz, on the other hand, posted a sharper decline. Its revenue dipped to $11 billion from $14 billion in 2024, which dropped the company from No. 30 to No. 43 in Forbes' rankings.
Wawa's workforce held steady in 2025 at approximately 47,000 employees, while Sheetz expanded to roughly 27,615 workers.
The upward momentum of Wawa comes as it aggressively expands into the Southeast, Midwest, and Central Pennsylvania, bringing the private company closer to its rival Sheetz in core markets.
