Three New Jersey towns have earned spots on a national list of the country's most sought-after Valentine's Day getaways.
In a survey of 3,012 couples, the travel site Exoticca asked them to share their most “sought-after cozy and atmosphere-rich destinations” for a romantic getaway.
While they did not crack the top 10, three New Jersey communities made the list: Cape May, Clinton, and Lambertville.

Cape May
Cape May placed 14th nationally. The community features Victorian charm, lovely inns, historic homes, and dining options like Ugly Mug. Overall, Cape May is described as a quintessential cozy winter escape in South Jersey that evokes a Hallmark Channel movie vibe.
Clinton
Clinton, ranked 79th nationwide, is highlighted for its natural beauty, farms, picturesque downtown, and historic inns, making it a quiet winter escape.
