Cirque du Soleil fans, get excited—because the iconic Big Top is officially making its way back to Philadelphia for the first time since 2023! Opening May 7, 2026, Cirque du Soleil’s visually striking and wildly imaginative production LUZIA will take over the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, just a quick 10‑minute drive from the King of Prussia Mall. If you’ve been craving an extraordinary escape, this is your invitation to step into a waking dream of Mexico like you’ve never seen before.

LUZIA invites audiences into a sumptuous world suspended between dreams and reality. The show seamlessly guides you from an old movie set to the ocean, then to a smoky dance hall and even across an arid desert—all brought to life through vibrant artistry and breathtaking acrobatics. Blending the richness of Mexican tradition with bold modernity, LUZIA captivates with every twist, turn, splash, and surprise.

One of the show’s most awe‑inspiring features? It incorporates rain into acrobatic scenes—a first for any Cirque du Soleil touring production. Watch performers defy gravity as aerialists twirl through cascading water and Cyr Wheel artists roll and spin beneath the rain.

LUZIA has earned high praise, with The New York Times calling it “Cirque du Soleil at its peak.” And it’s easy to see why. From hoop diving on giant treadmills to a contortionist bending into unimaginable shapes, from a gravity‑defying Aerial Straps performance inside a glowing cenote to soccer freestylers blending dance with unbelievable ball control—this show delivers unforgettable moments from start to finish.

Written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, in association with Brigitte Poupart, LUZIA draws its inspiration from “luz” (light) and “lluvia” (rain), inviting audiences to a dreamlike Mexico where both spirit and soul are renewed.

Tickets are now available at cirquedusoleil.com/luzia. Don’t miss your chance to experience LUZIA when it arrives in the Greater Philadelphia area this spring.
