Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia has been named the top stadium in Major League Baseball, according to a new USA TODAY 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards recognition.

Here's what USA TODAY reviewers had to say about the ballpark experience at "The Bank":

"The City of Brotherly Love welcomed a brand-new stadium in the 21st century, with Citizens Bank Park opening to the public in 2004. Philadelphia Phillies games are a top attraction around here, but no visit to the park is complete without checking out Ashburn Alley, a site that's packed full of local restaurants and baseball-themed interactive displays."

That's not all the accolades that Citizens Bank Park has received. USA TODAY also honored the ballpark with a No. 2 ranking for the tastiest ballpark bites in baseball.

"With an emphasis on iconic Philadelphia flavors and local culinary traditions, Citizens Bank Park showcases the city's most beloved dishes," according to USA TODAY. "Phillies fans can enjoy classic favorites such as cheesesteaks and soft pretzels as well as gourmet burgers, specialty sausages, loaded fries, and local craft beers. Local favorites include Chickie's & Pete's Crabfries, Manco & Manco boardwalk-style pizza, and Federal Donuts & Chicken."

USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards are all nominated by an expert panel and voted on by readers.

Capitalizing on their USA TODAY ballpark rankings, the Philadelphia Phillies opened their 2026 MLB season in grand form on Thursday, March 26. Cristopher Sánchez had an historic performance in a 5-3 victory over the Texas Rangers, striking out 10 in six scoreless innings.

"Kyle Schwarber smacked an opposite-field two-run home run. Alec Bohm hit an opposite-field three-run homer. The Phillies needed closer Jhoan Duran for the final couple outs — becoming the first Phillies pitcher to earn a save at home on Opening Day — but it was a game that offered evidence that the Phillies should be in the mix again to win a championship in October," noted an MLB.com news report.
