More than 60 restaurants across Monmouth and Ocean counties will serve three-course prix fixe menus from April 10 to 19. Jersey Shore Restaurant Week runs for ten days. Lunch costs $32.26. Dinner runs $42.26.

According to National Today, the event brings both fresh faces and familiar names to the table this year. Brielle House joins for the first time, along with La Bocca, Metropolitan Cafe, The Standard at the American Hotel, Park Social Restaurant & Lounge, Tradewinds, Outback Steakhouse, and P.F. Chang's — all newcomers ready to show what they've got.

Beach Haus returns. So does Mantoloking Road Ale House. Choices span from laid-back spots where you can kick back in jeans to white-tablecloth establishments that demand your Sunday best.

Local Story: Flavors on the Avenue Festival Returns to East Passyunk

This program started back in 2009 and happens twice each year, once when spring arrives and again when autumn leaves start falling. The goal is to push foot traffic through restaurant doors when beach crowds thin out and tourist dollars dry up.

Jersey Shore Restaurant Week lets eateries strut their stuff. New faces walk through doors. Chefs plate their best work. Over 17 years, this has turned into something locals circle on their calendars.

Ten days stretch before diners who want to hop from one spot to another throughout both counties. Fixed prices mean you can sample several kitchens without emptying your wallet.

April 10 kicks things off. April 19 wraps it up. Prix fixe menus hit tables at lunch and again when dinner service begins, giving you two shots each day to grab a seat.
