West Chester To Host Free Health Fair

A free community health fair hosted by Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital and Saint Agnes Parish will take place in West Chester. The health fair will be held at the Thomas Patrick Hall Gym at Saint Agnes Parish on Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to a MyChesCo report, on-site offerings will include the Penn Medicine Mobile Mammogram, the YMCA FIT Truck, and nurse-led screenings and education on blood pressure, stroke risk, wound care, lactation support, and safe sleep practices. Additional support will come from the hospital's diabetes and nutrition teams, as well as physical therapy professionals.

Beyond health screenings, families can participate in children's activities. Raffles, free snacks, and giveaways will also be on hand. All attendees will have opportunities to learn about community-based wellness resources and ask health-related questions.

The overarching goal of the event is to empower attendees to prioritize their health and take proactive steps in a welcoming, community-centered setting.
