After eight long years, Metallica returned to Philadelphia last Friday night for a show that was on fire (literally, at certain points – that pyro was no joke!). Lincoln Financial Field could barely contain the thrash titans as they thundered through a mix of new material and classic tracks. Check out the full setlist here.
Before the show, Jaxon went backstage to talk with James Hetfield about gearing up for the WorldWired tour, the brotherhood that the members of the band share, the Grammys fiasco (and why it wasn’t all that bad), and caring for fans that fly the flag of Metallica. Plus, he explained the now-infamous “So True Jaxon” bit… Hear his reaction (and the rest of the chat) below!
Metallica put together this cool video as a thank-you to Philly fans. Look for MMR around the 1:48 mark!
