Let us present to you the Local Shots Artist of the Month for October: Black Stars! They sound like a mash-up of the Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine with a some extra funk groove thrown in. Today we played the song “Can’t Stop Me Now” and you can listen to it now here on WMMR.com. Black Stars released their self-titled debut in March and they plan to put out more material in the near future, so be sure to keep an eye [or an ear?] out for that.
