Denise Sabia has turned her own challenges into a mission of compassion through her nonprofit “Her Favorite Thing” – delivering what can only be described as a hug in a box to local moms facing difficult times. Organizing a community collection drive for Mother’s Day, Denise is rallying friends and neighbors to share their favorite pampering items with women who could use a moment of self-care.
Her innovative “favorite thing” parties have women across the community sharing beloved products and heartfelt notes with struggling moms. Denise believes small luxuries can make a big difference in someone’s darkest days. Hand cream or a thoughtful note—can provide dignity and joy to someone during difficult times.
