Lamb of God‘s lead guitarist Mark Morton is unleashing an album of solo material on March 1st, though it’s hardly a “solo” effort. Anesthetic features players and vocalists from just about every corner of the rock world – most notably the late Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, who sings on the lead track “Cross Off”. Mark talks with Sara on 93.3 WMMR about how special the creative experience with Chester was, and how lucky he feels to have worked with him.
They also discuss which song on Mark’s album had an unexpected outcome, the future of metal, recording an LP of cover songs last year, and how Philly is the “home away from home” for Lamb of God (who are working on new material right now!).
Pre-order Anesthetic now, and catch Lamb Of God with Slayer on Friday, May 24th – Details HERE.
